The
legendary sea serpent of Lake Memphremagog, known in recent years
as Memphré, is the subject of a new exhibition at
the Galerie des artistes du Canton in Magog. Titled "La legende
de Memphré" ("The Legend of Memphré"),
the show will include works of art in different mediums by artists
of the region inspired by Memphré, as well as artifacts related
to Memphré and Lake Memphremagog, on loan from local diver
and "Memphréphile" Jacques Boisvert, who is also
honorary president of the event.
