MISSION:
Part of the "Economuseum" network, the Musée du bronze d'Inverness seeks to promote the heritage of bronze art, encourages the production and diffusion of contemporary pieces, and pays tribute to the region's best-known sculptors. When visitors pass through the main doors, which are themselves made of bronze, they will discover works by renowned artists that are beautiful and exquisite to the touch. They can also watch small bronze objects being cast in the micro-foundry.

PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION:
Museum, housed in the faithfully restored old courthouse (1861) of Inverness, includes: exhibition halls for permanent and temporary exhibitions, a reception area with works by renowned Quebec sculptors, a documentation centre, a boutique, a micro-foundry, and an amphitheatre-shaped garden.

COLLECTIONS:
Permanent collection of bronze objects.

SPECIAL ACTIVITIES:
Guided tours. Interpretation centre. Thematic and group exhibitions. Exhibitions of master sculptors. Workshops in the micro-foundry demonstrating bronze production techniques. Publication of catalogues.

Exhibition catalogues.
Videos on the Museum and its history, and on various artists.

June 24-Labour Day: Monday-Sunday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
