MISSION:
To promote the heritage of the Megantic region, Inverness in particular; to conduct historical and genealogical research, and communicate the results of that research to the public. An initiative of the Comité de développement éonomique d'Inverness.

PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION:

A little house, situated in the heart of the village of Inverness, which serves as a departure point for the heritage tour of Inverness village and township. Historic information on site. An exhibition room is in the planning stages.

COLLECTIONS:
Archival photographs and documents; books; etc. Map and historic toponymy of the region.

SPECIAL ACTIVITIES:
Guided heritage tours for groups (upon reservation). Visits to local Protestant churches, cemeteries, and historic sites.

 

 

PUBLICATIONS:
Documentation available for sale.

BUSINESS HOURS:
Tuesday to Sunday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

ENTRY FEES / MEMBERSHIP:
$6.00 (guided tour, 1 hour).
