MISSION:
To conserve and promote of the heritage of the Drummondville region.

COLLECTIONS:
Documents and publications pertaining to the history of Drummondville
and region. 90 collections and 30,000 historic photographs of the
Town of Drummondville and other municipalities in the Drummond MRC.
The historical society also possesses a large collection of newspapers
dating from the 19th century to the present.
SPECIAL ACTIVITIES:
Guided tours. Thematic exhibitions. Conferences. Publications. Reception,
orientation, and reference services. The historical society has
also been involved in a number of local heritage projects, including
the development of both Trent Manor and the Village québécois
d'antan, the creation of a heritage trail, and participation in
the restoration of St. George's Anglican Church. Each week, it publishes
an illustrated history column in the local paper, La Parole.
PUBLICATIONS:
Numerous historic booklets (Cahiers historiques): $3.00/each or
$5.00 for two.
Many other publications (please inquire for titles and prices).

Annual membership: $15.00 (individual); $25.00 (corporations).
No entry or research fees. Donations are welcome, however.
