MISSION:
A small, membership-based volunteer group, the Megantic County Historical Society meets twice a year. The Society's primary function is to upkeep "orphan cemeteries" - ie., cemeteries with no funds or caretakers of their own.

PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION:
Several Protestant cemeteries in the Inverness area.

COLLECTIONS:

SPECIAL ACTIVITIES:
Annual cemetery tour during summer. Annual memorial service at a different cemetery each year.
Genealogical research on request. Repairing fences, restoring monuments, and mowing lawns.

Annual membership: $3.00
Fee for research: $10.00. The Society welcomes donations, as these are its main source of income.
