Exhibition: "Theatre in Lennoxville: The Speid Influence," by the Lennoxville-Ascot Historical and Museum Society, 2nd floor, Uplands Cultural and Heritage Centre, 9 Speid, Lennoxville (Sherbrooke). Discover the whimsical world of Lennoxville theatre from over 100 years ago and see how it has progressed throughout the years. We are open Wednesday to Sunday, from 1:00 to 4:30. January 24-February 9. Soirée des beaux-arts, a benefit event for the Sherbrooke Museum of Fine Arts. 50 works of art will be on display during this period leading up to the auction on February 9. Bertrand LaPalme will be on hand at the museum on February 7, from 2-4 p.m. to guide art buyers in their choices. The museum is situated at: 241 Dufferin, Sherbrooke. Info: (819) 821-2115.
